Dr Morufu Omigbule

Dr Morufu Omigbule is an Associate Professor of Folklore, Literary Anthropology, and Postcolonial African Literature at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria.
His research has been published in leading local and international academic journals. He is the author of Rituals of Ile-Ife, Nigeria: Narratives and Performances of Archetypes, a scholarly work exploring the cultural narratives, rituals, and performances of Ile-Ife.
Dr Omigbule is a Fellow of the African Humanities Program of the American Council of Learned Societies. He has also been affiliated with Ghent University, Belgium, and has served as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
He brings extensive experience in African literature, cultural studies, research, and the humanities to OBAAT’s mission of promoting literacy, access to books, and educational opportunity.
