Our Mission
Our mission is to promote literacy, improve access to books, reduce waste, and create educational opportunities for people who might otherwise have limited access to reading materials.
We believe a book should continue to create value for as long as it can. Through our bookcycling model, we connect individuals and organisations in Ireland with readers, learners, and communities in Nigeria.
By giving books another journey, we help create opportunities for people to read, learn, discover, and grow.

A future where children can discover stories, young people can explore new ideas, students can access additional learning resources, educators can find useful materials, and adults can continue learning throughout their lives.
We want to help create a world where books can travel further, knowledge can be shared more widely, and every suitable book has the opportunity to reach another reader.

Bookcycling means giving books another opportunity to be used by redirecting them from people or organisations who no longer need them to new readers who can benefit from them.
We collect suitable donated and withdrawn books from individuals, organisations, schools, libraries, and other partners in Ireland.
